Lt. Col. (Ret.) Curran L. “Jack” Jones passed away November 17, 2013. Services were held 10 a.m. Nov. 20 at Salado Church of Christ with Bill Bunting officiating. Burial with military honors followed in Salado Cemetery.
Joyce Ann Watson Grant passed away on November 9, 2013 in a Temple hospital.
WACO — On Nov. 11, from 7 pm – 7 am Nov. 12, the northbound and southbound mainlanes near FM 2268 in Salado will be closed to all traffic to allow the contractor to demolish the old FM 2268 bridge. The new FM 2268 bridge will also be closed during this time.
William Carol “Toby” Preston of Salado passed away November 7, 2013 after a short illness at the age of 87.
