Services for Karl E. Ray, 65, of Salado were held August 31, 2018 at Salado United Methodist Church Historic Chapel with Dr. David Mosser, officiating.
Ray was buried at Salado Historic Cemetery following the church service.

Elizabeth Atchley of Houston, passed away August 15, 2018 in Boerne.
Services for Keith Michael Markham, 51, of Salado, TX will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday August 28, 2018 at St. Stephen Catholic Church with Mass concelebrated by Rev James Misko and Rev Jude Uche. A private graveside service will follow a bereavement meal.

MCCC, LLC withdrew on Friday, August 10 from negotiating with the Village of Salado for the possible purchase of the Mill Creek Golf Course, following a two-and-a-half hour town hall style meeting the night before during which VIllage Administrator Don Ferguson announced that the Village was pursuing re-zoning the golf course.
