Salado Masonic Lodge #296 AF&AM Floor Practices are held every Monday at 6:30 p.m. except for nights of Stated Meetings or federal holidays.
Stated Meetings are held on the Monday On or Before the Full Moon. Salado Lodge is one of the few remaining “Moon Lodges” that meets based on the Lunar calendar.
The Lodge was formed in 1867. The Lodge meets in the building that it moved to its location in the 1960s. It was the second story of the First Baptist Church. The Church met downstairs and the Lodge upstairs. In the 1960s, the FBC expanded its sanctuary and the Lodge moved the building.
Bring a needle art project and enjoy the company of neighbors. Sit and Knit welcomes those who knit, crochet as well as any and all needle artists.
Salado ISD offers classes for parents of students who are interested in learning English.
Salado Community Chorus Practice, 6 p.m. Tuesdays upstairs in the Meadows Auditorium of Salado Civic Center.
The Community Chorus is a group of like-minded friends who practice each week to perform at various community gatherings. The Salado Community Chorus has an annual Spring concert and an annual Christmas Concert (typically on the second Thursday of December at the First Baptist Church).
