Incumbents win re-election in local races

Salado Voters returned incumbents to Village of Salado and Salado ISD positions.

Skip_BlancettSkip Blancett was re-elected to a two year term. He had 357 votes with 274 votes in early voting and 83 votes today.

Hans Fields had  281 in the Mayoral Race, 203 in early voting and 78 today.

 

Dr. Amber Preston-Dankert.

Dr. Amber Preston-Dankert.

Amber Preston-Dankert led the field of three candidates for Aldermen even though she, like Blancett, was a write-in candidate. She had 40 votes, 305 in early voting and 105 cast today.

 

 

Frank Coachman

Frank Coachman

Frank Coachman followed and will be re-elected to a two year term on the Board of Aldermen.  Coachman had 226 early votes and 95 votes today for a total of 321.

Write-in candidate Linda Reynods had 186 early votes and 52 votes today for a total of 238 votes.

Jeff Kelley

Jeff Kelley

Jeff Kelley was re-elected to a three-year term on the Salado ISD Board of Trustees. He had  551 votes, including 396 in early voting.

 

 

 

Darrell Street

Darrell Street

Darrell Street was also re-elected with 531 votes, including 400 early votes.

Write-in candidate Michael Matthews had 103 votes, 76 in early voting and 27 today.
