The following calls were reported by Salado Police.
Feb. 21
2:41-3:41 p.m., I35 Exit 283 South. Crash, crash at the above location. Report on file.
Feb. 22
9:23-10:16 a.m., Walk in Police Department. Harassment, walk in at the Police Department for a Harassment issue. C.T. was filled out for two people.
5:39-5:40 p.m., 000 Block Rock Creek Drive. Medical, dispatched to 000 Block Rock Cree Drive in reference to a possible structure fire, where a BBQ grill started the house on fire. The homeowner grabbed his water hose, where he was able to put out the house along with the BBQ grill.
6:15-6:17 p.m., 1300 Block Chisholm Trail. Medical, arrived on scene, met with reporting party, who advised me his mom was having severe pains in her stomach area. Salado Fire Department and Scott & White EMS arrived on scene, I cleared the scene.
9:00 p.m., 2000 Block Smith Bluff Dr. Canine-Other, dispatched in reference to a coyote trapped under the homeowner’s car port. I arrived on scene and advised the homeowner to have his wife take their dogs inside. The homeowner and I used a pole to poke the coyote in the rear, which caused the coyote to run off. I cleared the scene.
11:26-11:27 p.m., Holiday Inn. Agency Assist, dispatched to the Holiday Inn in reference to a female sitting in her vehicle crying and had been involved in verbal argument with her boyfriend. I arrived on scene met with deputy and the female. Female was identified. Individual stated the argument took place at 1300 Block Vanessa Street. Individual advised no violence occurred and she was leaving and going to stay with her mom for the night. A check of individual by dispatch showed she and the vehicle were clear. A check of the address history, showed no previous domestics on record. I cleared with event number.
Feb. 23
12:25-12:56 p.m., 1900 Block Royal Rd. Welfare Concern, assisted Belton PD and Bell County Sheriff’s Office on a mental subject. I located subject at above location and County took him in for evaluation.
Feb. 24
11:43-11:44 a.m., 1000 Block Tres Court. Citizen Contact, Individual lost her purse, it was found and returned.
10:28-10:43 a.m., 700 Block West Village. Crash,
10:28-10:43 a.m., 700 Block West Village. Crash, at about 7 a.m. a tractor trailer was turning left onto West Village from Bluejay and struck the corner of the fence with the trailer.
9:45-9:49 p.m., 1900 Block Highland Dr. Agency Assist, 72 year old male, chest pain and vomiting. Arrived on scene, marked address with patrol unit and made initial patient contact. Clear with SVFD and Belton Medic on scene.
7:45-7:48 p.m., 620 Thomas Arnold Rd. Salado Jr. High. Agency Assist, Disturbance. Caller states her daughter was struck by a Liberty Hill student. Arrived on scene and made initial complainant contact. Incident occurred over an hour prior to call. Advised to wait for Bell County Sheriff’s Office who is en route. Waited on scene with complainant for Deputy. Clear with Sheriff’s Office on scene.
Feb. 25
8:08-8:12 p.m., 500 Block FM 2268. Welfare Concern, passerby found elderly female walking in roadway. Family contacted by SVFD who is caring for patient. Clear.
3:22-3:24 p.m., 1100 Block Mill Creek Dr. Alarm Residential, panic/robbery. Arrived to find resident on scene. Accidental alarm activation. Code-4, clear.
Feb. 26
6:41 p.m., 818 N. Main St. (Subway). Family Violence, verbal only. Juvenile female did not feel that she needed to listen to her mother. The law and situation were explained to her. Juvenile left in vehicle with parent. No violence. Clear.
7:07-7:09 p.m., 1000 Block W. Village Rd. Suspicious Person, transient walking in and out of the store, staring at customers. Walked away from property prior to my arrival. Checked surrounding area and located subject. Courtesy ride given to Midway and I-35. Clear.
Feb. 27
11:38 a.m.- 12:08 p.m., 700 Block College Hill. Medical, call for above location for a victim of a fall arrived along with Salado Volunteer Fire Department. Code-4, clear. No transport.
1:02-1:08 p.m., 500 Block Degrummond. Canine-other, call for dog at large. Located dog unable to catch. Will attempt tomorrow.
Feb. 28
12:54 p.m., 284 South. Crash, call for a disabled vehicle at above location. Vehicle was moved off the interstate and in a safe location. Clear.
3:27-4:51 p.m., 290 North. Agency Assist, requested to assist Belton for a 6 car crash blocking both lanes of traffic at the above location. Arrived and assisted BPD on a crash. Clear.
Feb. 29
8:27 a.m., Public Service. Suspicious Circumstance, caller owns a storage facility south of Salado and found some new overhead doors in a locker.
