11:30-11:37 a.m., Holiday Inn. Agency Assist, call to assist Belton PD with a crash that occurred on the interstate. Caller pulled to the above location.
March 7
10:14 a.m., I-35 and Tahuaya. Welfare Concern, call for welfare of a child in the front seat of a vehicle not buckled in. I located vehicle and driver was cited for violation. Clear.
11:55 a.m., Thomas Arnold and Stagecoach. Traffic Control. Observed a vehicle stopped at the above location. Vehicle ran out of fuel. Gave driver a ride to the CEFCO for fuel. Code-4 vehicle back on roadway.
1:25-1:26 p.m., 1600 Block Old Mill Rd. Agency Assist, call for an EMS assist at above location. I arrived along with Salado Fire. Clear.
12:46 p.m., Salado Police Department. Threats, walk-in at the Police Department for threats by text messages. CFS generated, clear.
March 8
10:20 a.m., 3833 Hester Way. Agency Assist, checked area no such address.
10:22-10:28 a.m., 1100 Block N. Main St. Alarm Business, public library, no problems.
6:53-7:00 p.m., 400 Block Smith Branch Rd. Canine-Other, notified by Chief Hensley of an animal disturbance at 400 Block Smith Branch Rd. Chief informed me citizens were complaining about barking dogs at the green house on Smith Branch Rd. I arrived on scene and knocked on the door and the dogs were inside the house barking, but the homeowners had left the windows open, so every time a vehicle drives past the dogs bark at them. I left a business card on the door and cleared the scene. I called the citizen, who called Chief Hensley about the complaint and explained the situation to them at phone number. I cleared and will checked the residence from time to time.
7:25-7:32 p.m., Low Water Crossings in Town. Traffic Control, was advised the water was going over the road by dispatch. Went and put out the signs and barricades, where I blocked off the roadways that were under water. I called Chief Hensley and informed him of this information. I cleared.
8:53 p.m., Police Department. Canine-Other, talked to the citizen in reference to the animals barking on Smith Branch Rd. I advised her of the process and further advised her I would go back to the house and try to make contact with the owners o the dog.
10:00-10:08 p.m., 1200 Block Mackie Dr. Agency Assist, out in reference to a person not breathing. I arrived on scene and assisted Fire Department and EMS, person was deceased on scene. The scene was turned over to Bell County Sherrif’s Office along with Salado Fire and EMS. Clear.
10:56-10:59 a.m., 1000 Block Mill Creek. Canine-Other, picked up a male white dog at above location. Dog was chipped, out of Fort Carson. Took to shelter.
March 9
9:02-9:04 a.m., 800 Block FM 2268. Stalled Vehicle, Holland school bus was broken down with no power. HISD is en route with another bus.
11:40-11:44 a.m., IH-35 North Bound, South of 285. Crash, 1 Vehicle crash, DPS worked.
12:44 a.m., 2484 and 1670. Crash, arrived on scene where I found a gray in color Nissan 4 door vehicle had struck the guardrail, the driver appeared to be intoxicated. DPS arrived on scene where he completed the crash form on the vehicle, because the crash occurred outside the city limits. The driver was arrested for DWI and the vehicle was towed away by 121. I cleared.
10:46-11:19 p.m., South Bound I-35 Mile Marker 284. Crash, 1 vehicle crash at above location.
9:10 a.m., 1600 Block Old Mill. Injured Person, female with shoulder pain, transported to Scott & White.
March 10
9:33-9:40 a.m., 700 Block McKay. Miscellaneous, 911 misdial, no emergency.
4:38 p.m., Public Service. Welfare Concern, Son in law is en route from Washington State. He has children and does not have custody of them. The daughter lives in Salado, does not have address or any other information.
3:58-4:01 p.m., North Bound I-35 at FM 2484. Crash, Crash on North Bound side at the FM 2484 bridge, 2 vehicles. 1 driver transported. Crash Report.
March 11
12:31-12:44 p.m, 800 Block Park. Suspicious Circumstance, concerned about something in the drain at the one lane bridge, it was a log.
12:54-12:58 p.m., 11200 Block Irene Lane. Agency Assist, deputy needed help, on the ground with suspect. Mental health subject.
8:03-8:11 p.m., 1022 W. Village Rd. (CEFCO). Suspicious Person, employee states person in store acting strangely. Gone on arrival. All merchandise in area he was loitering in was accounted for. Clear.
9:15-9:18 p.m., 600 Block Center Circle. Alarm Residential, great room motion, secure ground level. No key holder contact. Clear.
March 13
10:31-10:59 a.m., 283 South. Traffic Hazard, call for an oversize load that could not go under Thomas Arnold Bridge. Truck was backed up to nearest exit and was diverted to the service road.
3:21 p.m., 282 North I-35. Crash, advised me that there was a crash at the above location and that DPS asked if I could help them out by assisting in taking the crash report due to all the crashes in Troy at the time of this one. I arrived and crash report was taken. Code-4, clear.
3:51 p.m., South I-35 and Thomas Arnold Bridge. Traffic Control, Semi trying to pass under bridge, but was too tall. TxDot was called along with James Construction.
3:49-3:52 p.m., I-35 South Bound at Thomas Arnold Bridge. Agency Assist, Salado Fire Chief advised an oversized load was stuck blocking south bound IH-35 because the load was too tall to fit under bridge. We blocked traffic so he could back up to the exit ramp, DPS arrived on scene and the trucker was turned over to DPS, IH-35 was opened back up and cleared.
