Salado Eagles get a week of rest before beginning District 9-4A football Oct. 7. The Eagles will be going into that game with what has been a rarity in Salado for the past several years — a three-game winning streak.
Salado will crown the 2016 Homecoming King and Queen at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 at Eagle Field. After the homecoming ceremonies, the Salado Eagles will play the Eagles of St. Dominc Catholic High School at 7:30 p.m., hoping to add a third win to the pre-district season.
