Bertrand Paul Moquin services held Jan 7

Bertrand Paul Moquin, of Salado, passed away Jan. 4, 2006 at a Temple hospital.
Moquin was born Sept. 16, 1938 in Burlington, VT to Bertrand Joseph Moquin and Cecelia Rachel Peryea.

After serving in the United States Navy, Senior Chief Petty Officer Moquin went on to have a 22-year career with Texas Instruments. Very shortly after, he joined the staff at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, where he held a position as a Professor in Information Systems and Business Administration.

He is survived by Margarita, his wife of 46 years; his son Paul and wife Kelly, and their three children, Amanda, Laura, and Joshua; son Rene` and his wife Patti, and their three children, Tyler, Jordan, and Emily; and daughter Sally and her two children, Alexander and Katelynn.
Rev. Roy Parker will officiated the graveside service, held Jan. 7 at the Salado Cemetery.

Patsy Laws passes away at home Jan 2

Patsy Jene Laws, 67, of Salado, passed away Jan. 2, 2006 at her residence.
Laws was born in Seymour, TX on Sept. 5, 1938, the daughter of the late William John and Dorothy (Wall) Olsen.

She is survived by her husband, Lyndol Jay Laws, of Salado; daughter, Shari Watkins, of Kingwood, TX; son, William Laws, of Saint Jo, TX; and sister, Chris Davies, of Alvarado, TX. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

Memorial Services were held Jan. 7 at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights.
