Salado teams warm up for playoffs
Salado Lady Eagles will take their near-perfect record on the road March 27 when they face LaGrange, the fourth place team out of District 26AAAA, at 6:30 p.m. at Hutto High School. The boys will follow in their match up with Taylor, the second-place team out of District 26AAAA at 8 p.m.
Wolf throws no hitter against Lampasas
Through six innings, Cody Wolf held onto a perfect game against the Lampasas badgers until Braden Terry took Wolf’s second pitch and knocked a hard grounder past Jacob Little to reach first on an error in the Salado Eagles’ 6-0 no-hitter win on March 24.

Eagles return to soccer playoffs
Salado Eagles varsity soccer return to the playoffs as the third place team in District 25-4A after a win over Jarrell and a loss to Liberty Hill last week.

Salado Eagles competed in the East Travis County baseball tournament March 12-14, winning four of six games, losing only to the 6A Leander Rouse Raiders and the 5A Leander Lions.

Varsity Eagles fall to 1-3 in district soccer
Salado varsity Eagles fell to 1-3 in district and 9-9 overall after a close last minutes loss to the Lampasas Badgers on the road. The Badgers won 4-3, scoring a goal in the final minutes of the game.

A shut-out loss to the Liberty Hill Panthers Feb. 24 dropped Salado Eagles varsity soccer to 1-2 in district and 9-8 on the year.
