Dorcas “Dee” Eilers services held Aug. 2

Dorcas “Dee” Eilers, 65, of Morgan’s Point, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 in a Temple Hospital.

Funeral services were held Aug. 2 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton, Rev. Ronnie Rhodes officiated. Graveside services were held Tuesday at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.

Eilers was born to Melvin and Myrtle Lee Gann Boney in Rogers on April 8, 1940. She has been a resident of Bell County since 1990, moving here from new Braunfels, where she has lived for 35 years. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in retail sales. She was a member of Faith Tabernacle in Belton.

Survivors include one son, Daniel Ray Eilers of Morgan’s Point; two brothers, Ray Boney of Lake Belton and Bill Boney of Salado; and one sister, Donna Young of Elm Mott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Lee Eilers on May 31, 1996 and one daughter, Susan Eilers in 1973.

Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton was in charge of arrangements.
