Naomi Jane Upton services held Dec. 18 at Grace Baptist

Naomi Jane Upton 72, of Salado, died Dec. 14, 2007 at a Temple hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at Grace Baptist Church in Salado with pastor John Warden officiating. Burial will be at Salado Cemetery.

Upton was born in Rotan, Texas on May 20, 1935 to Winford J. and Sarah Jane (Rains) Quiett. She worked as a sales manager and raised three daughter. Jane and Bill Upton were married on September 4, 1979 in Fort Worth.

The Uptons moved to Salado from Weatherford in 2002. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Salado.

Survivors include her husband Bill, three daughters, Gwen Dalton and husband Britt of Salado, Kathryn Upton, of Frisco, Robin Upton of Frisco; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, fives sisters and two brothers.
