Lady Eagles shut out Taylor in first round
With Reagan Morreale getting a hat trick, the Salado Lady Eagles shut out the Taylor Lady Ducks in the first round of the 4A girls soccer playoffs March 23. Salado will play Canyon Lake in the area round game next week.

Property tax freeze cannot be repealed
Many of the same arguments launched against the $10.55 million bond election for the construction of a sewer system for Salado are again being launched via letters to the editor, website postings and social media postings concerning the upcoming Disannexation election.

Chamber plans move to Museum
Board of Aldermen mull contract with Chamber to manage Hotel Occupancy Funds
The Salado Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center will move south to the Salado Museum after appropriate renovations are made for staff offices.
The renovations are estimated at about $10,000. The Chamber Board of Directors awarded the bid to SVC Remodeling Construction at their March 16 meeting.
