Tablerock Festival of Salado presents the 2024 Animal Tales Anthology and Tablerock Poetry Festival 2-9 p.m. Saturday, April 27. This year’s Poetry Festival is Dedicated to Jackie and the late Denver Mills.

The Poetry Festival will feature the launch of the 2024 Animal Tales Anthology, with Texas National and International Poets represented. Join with host, Thom Woodruff, Beat Poet Laureate of Texas. Thom has positive ties to the Salado community which include convening poetry workshops, school performances at Salado High School, and playing Edgar Allen Poe for Fright Trail.

This is a unique live outdoor presentation, but will move indoors if weather does not cooperate.

Admission is free.
