Salado Lady Eagles volleyball season came to an end in Bastrop on Nov. 2 when the girls lost to La Vernia in the first round of the playoffs in a four-set match.
La Vernia won the first set 25-20 and the second set 25-17 before Salado rallied to win the third set 25-17.
