Eagles lose to Ducks and Badgers
Salado Eagles lost two district basketball games on the road last week, a 52-49 nail biter to the Lampasas Badgers and a 59-84 loss to the state-ranked Taylor Ducks.

Lions Club Brisket Bingo Huge Success
The January 31 Bingo Event was a huge success with with a room full of players at the Venue. (Above) The Bingo Caller Rick Thomssen was joined by Pat Broecker to monitor the calls. Racks of ribs and sausage were prizes . There were 21 games with all ages participating. Photos by Royce Wiggin

Junior League of Bell County helps to make Prom dreams come true
JLBC creates a memorable experience for young ladies who would not be able to attend their prom without generous community support and donations.
Temple: Junior League of Bell County is hosting their annual Project Prom event for the benefit of dozens of high school young ladies. Counselors and Communities in Schools representatives at schools throughout Bell County nominate seniors who have proven to be determined young ladies whose personal or financial circumstances may prevent them from participating in their high school’s prom.
