All registered voters in our school district are encouraged to take the survey so the feedback best represents our community.

Long range facilities planning committee lists priorities
Our facilities planning committee made up of community members, business leaders, Salado ISD staff and parents, has been meeting since September to review current and future facility and equipment needs of Salado ISD. The committee has identified facility needs in the areas of student safety, classroom capacity, athletics, fine arts, agriculture science/FFA, and renovation of aging facilities.

Candidates fill March primary ballots
David Blackburn will run unopposed for Bell County Judge, but there will be a slew of contested races up and down the ballot with primaries to be held on March 6, 2018 and the November 7, 2018 General Election.

Avery Foegelle will be one of 120 cowgirls competing at the KK Run for Vegas/Junior National Finals Rodeo Barrel Race Dec. 12-16 in Las Vegas. The event will be held in conjunction with the National Finals Rodeo, the sport’s grand finale.

SISD gets Superior Achievement on financial accountability
The Salado Independent School District received a rating of “A” for “Superior Achievement” under Texas’ School FIRST financial accountability Rating system. The “Superior Achievement” rating is the state’s highest, demonstrating the quality of our school district’s financial management and reporting system.

Eagles heading to the Region III Championship game
The Eagles will face undefeated back-to-back State Champions West Orange-Stark in the Region III Finals at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 in Katy after defeating the Bellville Brahmas in overtime 13-10 on Dec. 2. For those fans who are going to the game and would like to support the 2021 SHS Graduating Class, Salado Eagle Stadium Chairs are still available.
