Salado Eagles struggled with executing their new slot T offensive scheme in their season opening loss to the Troy Trojans Aug. 26 at University of Mary Hardin Baylor’s McLane Stadium. Salado lost 15-3 in a game marked on both sides by mistakes, fumbles and penalties.

Customers complain to SWSC about chloramine side effects
More than two dozen Salado Water Supply customers from the western portion of the SWSC service area went before the board of directors Aug. 25 to express their concerns with the chloramine-treated water that they have been receiving since mid-July.
