Services for Lloyd Lee Parks, 84, will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Salado Church of Christ with Pastor Joe Keyes presiding. Interment in Salado Cemetery with Military Honors will follow.

Robert Lynn Johnson passed away July 20, 2014, at his home in Fairview, with his wife, Penny, by his side.
The Johnsons were Salado residents from 2008 to 2011.
Johnson had been battling cancer since February, 2004.
Graveside services for Jamie Phipps Bonner, Jr., of Lufkin and formerly of Salado, were held July 21, 2014 in the Salado Cemetery with Bro. Billy Johnson officiating.
Salado Masonic Lodge #296 installed officers for the 2014-15 year in a July 12 ceremony. Officers installed were (front row, from left) Senior Warden Paul Christian, Worshipful Master Art Wadford, Junior Warden Brian Arnett, Junior Deacon Kelly Purvis; (back row, from left) Chaplain Douglas McNeese, PM served as Installing Marshall; District Deputy Grand Master Ty Tulloch served as Installing Master; Secretary Tim Fleischer, PM and Senior Deacon Walt Tollefson.
