Matea Annie Rodriguez

August 22, 1929

September 1, 2014

Matea Annie Rodriguez of Holland died September 1, 2014. She was born August 22, 1929 to Annie (Benina) Perez Rodriguez and Jesus Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Placido Rodriguez and Roman Guajardo.

She is survived by sisters; Mary Estrada and Rufina Ybarra, brother-in-law Ramon Ybarra and her sister-in-law Carmen Rodriguez, as well as sixteen nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.

She was a longtime resident of Holland, and was employed by Vernon Dry Cleaners for 20 + years, Grace Jones Boutique- Salado for nine years, The Meridian in Temple for 18 years, and Academy ISD for eight years.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Holland and an active member of the Quilting Club.

A visitation was held Sept. 5 at Broecker Funeral Home. Church services were Sept. 6 at First United Methodist Church in Holland.

Memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church, 204 Hogan, Holland, TX 76534.

Services are in the care of Broecker Funeral Home, Salado.
