Delahoya passes away Oct. 19
Maria Delahoya, 44, of Salado, died at her residence Oct. 19, 2003.
Funeral services were held Oct. 24 at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Salado with Father Charles Davis officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Cemetery in Belton.
She was born to Ursulo and Benita Herrera Soto in Durango, Mexico on April 2, 1959. She married Juan Delahoya in Durango on May 9, 1981. She had been a resident of Bell County for the past 13 years. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Salado.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Delahoya of Salado; sons, Cristo Delahoya and Juan F. Delahoya, both of Salado; daughter, Reina Delahoya of Salado; parents, Ursulo and Benita Soto, of Durango, Mexico; brothers, Alfredo Soto and Javier Soto, both of Oakland, CA; and sisters, Sofia Soto, Eliverta Soto, and Candelaria Soto, all of Durango, Mexico.
Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton was in charge of arrangements.
