Private First Class Donnell C. Harris

FORT HOOD, Texas – Fort Hood officials have released the name of a Soldier who died March 27, 2010 in Killeen, Texas, of an apparent gunshot wound.

    Private First Class Donnell C. Harris, 23, of Linden, Mass., joined the military in June 2008 as an avenger crewmember. He was assigned to Echo Battery, 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 69th Air Defense Artillery Brigade.
    Harris’s awards and decorations include the National Defense Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
    Circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation.
