Why a Teacher?: Teaching is in my blood. My mom, aunt and grandmother were all teachers and have spent a lot of time in classrooms. Being able to see my mom interacting with middle school students and seeing how she built a rapport with her students influenced me to do the same. Also, seeing past students come up to her and thank her for pushing them and believing in them. With all of that, it gave me the inspiration to pursue education.
