July 25
4:55-5:54 a.m., I-35 286 NB. Out for a Motor Vehicle Collision unknown injuries. Arrived on scene to find a pick up and a trailer on the side of the road with minor damage. Checked for injuries and found the patient sitting in the truck and had minor complaints and did not know if he wanted to go to the hospital. Patient was trying to call for a tire guy to come and fix the flat tires. BFD arrived on scene and took over patient care. BFD Medic ended up transported patient. Remained on scene until wreckers arrived on scene and removed the vehicles from the roadway. 3 units, 4 personnel.
7:07-7:19 p.m., 500 Block East Amity Rd. Out for an Illegal Control Burn. Arrived on scene to find a wood pile almost burnt down. Advised of burn ban. Homeowner was going to put it out. 2 units, 4 personnel.
July 26
1:52-2:05 a.m., 4800 Block of FM 2484. Dispatched for a female patient possible having medical troubles. Arrived on scene to find 2 BCSO units on scene with a female. BCSO she was homeless and did not need EMS or medical attention. 2 units, 3 personnel.
5:01-5:23 p.m., 1900 Block Old Mill Rd. Priority 2 fall. Arrived on scene to find 95 year old female sitting in chair in living room. Patient complaint of pain upon movement. Patient responsive to person only. Patient’s family members stated this was not normal behavior. Family explained that patient had fell out of bed at approximately noon. when transferring herself from bed to wheelchair. Patient denied hitting head. Obtained initial vitals signs and was beginning exams when Scott & White arrived on scene. Gave Scott & White patient report and turned over patient care. Assisted with patient load onto stretcher and assisted with carry gear to ambulance. Scott & White transported. 2 units, 4 personnel.
July 28
4:55-6:03 a.m., NB 282. Out to a Motor Vehicle Collision unknown injuries. Arrived on scene to find a 1 vehicle accident with moderate damage and blocking the NB I-35. Set up scene safety and traffic control and had all vehicles exit highway. Scott & White arrived on scene and had patient care. Scott &White transported. for evaluation. Remained on scene until vehicle was removed from roadway. 3 units, 6 personnel.
5:47-6:39 p.m., I-35 and 284. Arrived on scene to find a single vehicle in the ditch. Patient was not on scene. Had no patient contact. 4 units, 7 personnel.
July 29
8:07-8:28 a.m., 1400 Block Stagecoach Circle. Out to a priority 3 lift assist at 1400 Block Stagecoach Circle. Arrived on scene to find the patient sitting on the floor. Helped patient to stand up and then helped her to sit on a chair. Patient not complaining of anything hurting. 2 units, 3 personnel.
16300 Block Dove Rd. Out for a east side strike team activation. Went en route but was canceled. 2 units, 4 personnel.
July 31
5:25-6:01 a.m., FM 2116 and E FM 487. Dispatched to a spill. Arrived on scene to find an 18 wheeler load of cows on side. Checked for leaks approximately 3 gallons of antifreeze leak. Canceled Drome and Bartlett fire. Bartlett fire said they were not going to cancel. Bartlett arrived on scene and said they had the scene. Salado fire cleared and returned to station. 3 units, 4 personnel.
