Victor Charles Fiorenza

Services for Victor Charles Fiorenza, 75,  will be at the historic Salado Cemetery, Sunday, March 28th at 2:00 PM. Charley Fiorenza died on March 24, 2010 in Temple, Texas.

Charley was born March 23, 1935 in Beaumont to Anthony and Grace Fiorenza.

He is preceeded  in death by his parents, two brothers, A.J. and James Fiorenza, and grandson, Benton Ewton.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne of Salado; children, Cathy Russell and her husband Tim, Chuck Fiorenza, Carrie Aulbaugh and her husband Jim, Blake Shaw and his wife Laurie; and Karen Ewton and her husband Bill of Salado; 12 grandchildren, and brother Archbishop Emeritus Joseph A. Fiorenza of the Houston .

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s Mortuary – McFaddin in Beaumont, Texas. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Basilica in Beaumont at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010. All services in both locations will be performed by his brother, Archbishop Fiorenza.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Austin.
