Congregation marks decade of growth with construction of new sanctuary
In 2006 3C Cowboy Fellowship began its journey with a small group of people. There have been some changes along the way but the one thing that has stayed the same is the purpose of the church to reach Cowboys and Cowgirls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
As the church grew they moved from renting a building to having their own land where they met in a tent, the members were faithful to attend even when the weather was bad. Eventually they were able to build a building to meet in that lead to building an arena to do events in order to help reach those in the Cowboy Culture.
As the church continued to develop the church decided to build a second building to continue its ministry. 3C works on the basis that God will provide and all these things have been accomplished by God using individuals in and around the area to the point that the church has never had to borrow any money to move forward with God’s work.
The next step in their journey is the opening of the third building a brand new sanctuary. Everyone is invited to attend; the Grand Opening will be January 10, at 10 a.m.Marlon Sharp and the Cowboys at the Cross will be providing the music. Gary Patterson will be preaching and the celebration will end with a FREE BBQ lunch. 3C is looking forward to many great years to come in fulfilling God’s purposes through them right here in Salado, Texas.
