Conrad Avila

Services for Conrad Valentine Avila, eight years old, of Belton were held  Sept. 12 at St. Joseph Episcopal Church, N. Main St., Salado, with Father Bob Bliss officiating. A viewing preceded the service and Burial followed at Rest Haven Cemetery, Belton.

Avila died September 6, 2015 at his home in Belton.  He was born February 16, 2007 in Temple, Texas to Juana Avila.  He attended Southwest Elementary School, Belton before he became ill with inoperable brainstem cancer and was unable to attend.

He was a member of the St. Joseph Episcopal Church, Salado where he became an acolyte, served as an altar boy  and was a member of the youth group.

Conrad is survived by his mother, Juana Avila; brothers: Jesse Avila and Jose Lopez, and sister Samantha Avila.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Conrad Avila Memorial Fund, First State Bank of Salado.

Arrangements are in the care of Broecker Funeral Home of Salado.
