FORT WORTH — Betty Quevreaux Corbett, 86, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2015.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church. Visitation was held Wednesday at Greenwood.
Betty was born Sept. 20, 1929, in Belton to Bud and Christine Peteete and soon after moved to Salado where she graduated from high school. She attended Southwest Texas State until taking a public relations position with Shell Oil where she met her first husband, Bill. After his death, she moved her family to Fort Worth where she joined a square dance club and met her second husband, Jim. She was active in her spiritual home at St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, loved gardening and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Quevreaux; and her sister, Alice Womack.
Survivors: Husband, Jim Corbett; daughters, Caron and Anne; brother, Mark Peteete; six stepchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; many extended family and friends; and her beloved dog, Scarlett.
Memorials: If you wish, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
