Ashley “Ash” Rolf Jones, 37, of Southern Shores, NC and formerly of Salado, passed away on November 12, 2019.

He was born in Denver, CO on September 15, 1982 to Spencer and Beverly (Koops) Jones.

While earning his degree from Texas Wesleyan University, Ash was able to pursue his passion by playing for the Rams Golf Team for 4 years.

He served as the PGA professional for several golf courses, including The Pointe Golf Club, Powells Point, NC. He was also the founder and former owner and operator of Turf’s Up OBX, Kitty Hawk, NC.

He is preceded in death by his father Spencer Jones.

He is survived by his wife Kellie Crawford Jones of Southern Shores, NC and their sons Jack and Colt Jones.

He is also survived by his mother Beverly Koops Jones of Kill Devil Hills, NC, and his brothers Randy Jones of Kitty Hawk, NC and Mark Jones and wife Izumi of Los Angeles, CA; mother and father-in-law, Geri and Danny Crawford of Kill Devil Hills, NC; brother-in-law, Gerald Crawford and wife Amy of Manteo, NC; a niece, and three nephews. 

In keeping with Ash’s wishes, there will be no service. A celebration of his life will be announced in the future.
