Barrow Brewing Company and Noonday Collection are teaming up. Co-Owner of Barrow Brewing Co, KD Hill, and Local Ambassador with Noonday Collection, Erin Rigsby, invite local ladies to a fun and inspiring girl’s night out 7 – 10 p. m. on May 4 at Barrow Brewing Company, 108 Royal Street.

Noonday Collection began as a fundraiser for a family in Austin who were adopting their son from Rwanda. Now, Noonday partners with artisans in 13 countries, creating sustainable jobs through fashion and design. At the heart of Noonday is adoption. Hostesses like KD can create a global marketplace in their home or place of business, and also raise money for an adoption.

Erin Rigsby, Salado High School Class of ’96, joined the growing community of Noonday Ambassadors in 2013. As a Noonday Ambassador, Erin has become a social entrepreneur, a stylist who helps women feel beautiful, and a storyteller who shares the remarkable stories of the world-wide Artisans who create Noonday’s pieces.

KD Hill and her husband, Graydon, opened Barrow Brewing Company just last month. Before settling in Salado, KD spent time in Jordan where she witnessed first-hand the impact women in the workplace has on society. When a woman is able to support herself and her family it is life changing – for the woman, her family, and the entire community. For this reason, the Hills wanted to open the brewery up for a Noonday event. The Hills are also excited about the opportunity to support a Texas family’s adoption.

Ten Percent of ALL sales (Noonday and brewery sales) at this event will go to a family from San Antonio who are in the process of adopting a child from Ethiopia. Adoptive mama, Katie, will be at the event to share her adoption story. Katie and her husband Clayton have two sons and are looking forward to growing their family through adoption.

There will be over 100 pieces from Noonday Collection on display to see and try on, plus Barrow Brewing Company’s selection of beers, kombucha, and coffee  will be available for purchase.
