Betty Croftcheck

Services for Betty Louise Huey Croftcheck, 64, of Salado were held Wednesday, May 25,  at First Baptist Church of Salado.  Dr. Travis Burleson and Dr. Leroy Kemp will officiate.  Burial will follow at Salado Cemetery.  Mrs. Croftcheck died Friday, May 20, 2011 in a Temple hospital.

Betty was born Nov 29, 1946 in Belton, Texas to Clifton Marlin Huey and Mildred Katherine Strawn Huey.  She had been a member of First Baptist Church Salado since her childhood.  She had resided in Salado since 1984 where she was the Librarian Aide at Thomas Arnold Elementary until the time of her passing.

Ms. Croftcheck was preceded in death by her parents and by one daughter, Karla Lynn Croftcheck, March 30, 2002.

Survivors include one son, Michael Croftcheck, and three grandchildren, Katy, Kylie, and Evan Croftcheck, all of Salado; three brothers, Charles Huey, George Huey, and David Huey; two sisters, Peggy Warren and Dorothy Long.

The family received friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Temple.
