Carolyn F. Wallace

Services for Carolyn Fay Grigsby Wallace, 60, of Temple will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Billy Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Wallace died Saturday, Feb. 12, at her home.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1950, to James Christopher and Mary Meyer Hovis in Temple. She graduated from Belton High School. She worked in civil service at Fort Hood and the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center in Temple for more than 20 years. She married William Grigsby on Oct. 6, 1969.

Survivors include her husband; a son, John Christopher Grigsby of Temple; two daughters, Patricia Ann Grigsby of Salado and Marie Annette Grigsby of Nolanville; two sisters, Marilyn Kay Buchanan and Christine Sweet, both of Temple; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or to the American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
