Bell County Commissioner Tim Brown announced that he would seek a seventh and final term on the Commissioners Court in the March 2018 Republican primary. Brown made the announcement from the Commissioner’s Court on Sept. 18.

Central Texas College (CTC) held a ribbon cutting during its Friday Night Flights Tailfin Tailgate celebration last Friday to announce the addition of four new planes and a flight simulator for the school’s Aviation Science department. Two Piper Archers and two Piper Arrows were added to the fleet of training airplanes along with a Frasca Level 5 flight simulator. The new inventory will be used for student training and flight competition.

S.E.E.D Fest will bring a day of Earth-based learning to Bell county 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on April 29 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Bell County.
The Republican Party of Bell County will meet on Monday, March 20, in the Commissioners Courtroom, Bell County Courthouse, 101 East Central Avenue, Belton.
Anyone who has suffered the loss of their child, is invited to an informal meeting on Thursday, 6:30 p.m. March 9 at the Family Center across from the Harper Talasek Funeral Home at 500 West Barton (corner of North 9th and Barton) in Temple. The child could have been any age from an infant to an adult.
