Kolls passes away at the ripe old age of 101
Graveside services for Elsie M. Kolls, age 101, of Belton were held Sept. 25, 2000 at the Salado Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Davis officiating.
Kolls died Sept. 23, 2000 in a Belton nursing home.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1899, in Milam county to Rayth and Sophronia Ann Griffin McQueen. She married Julius Max Koll on August 22, 1920 in Temple. Kolls worked as a caretaker, seamstress and a farmer. She was a charter member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Belton where he taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius Max Kolls in July 1929.
Survivors include one son, Max Julius Kolls of Belton; one daughter, Virginia Finney of Belton; one sister, Bernice Copeland of Salado. Also three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene building fund in Belton.
