Sara Beth Oyler, 66, of Belton, TX, died June 30, 2020 after a very short battle with cancer at home and at Scott & White hospital in Temple.  Sara was born on July 20, 1954 in Rising Star, TX to Ross and Georgie Street.  She married her teenage sweetheart and only love, Richard H. Oyler.

LTC(R) Richard (Rick) Lawrence Powell, 67, died at his home in Killeen on June 22, 2020.

Rick was born to CW4 Theo Lawrence and Valerie Barbara Powell, in Bountiful, Utah on January 11, 1953.  This was were he grew up and learned to love sports from his mother, where he excelled at skiing, was a ranked tennis player, played golf, and was an AAU Swimmer for the University of Utah.

Mildred Jean Parramore Teal, 85 years old, died on April 24, 2020, in Grandbury, Texas. Jean was born in Winters, Texas on March 31, 1935. She was the fourth child of William Warren Parramore and Mildred Regina Johnson. Jean lived in Winters with her family until she left for college after her high school graduation.

M.E. (Jimmy) Taylor age 79, a retired commercial contractor and resident of Belton and formerly of Salado, passed away on March 18, 2020 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital.

Charles (Chuck) Thomas Kowaleski passed away at his home in Salado on March 23, 2020 from Brain Cancer. 

Robert Ray Gamble, affectionately known as Bob, age 88, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2020 at his home in Salado, Texas. Graveside services will be on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Salado Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. He was born November 6, 1931 in Phenix City, Alabama to Robert and Mary (Brooks) Gamble. He married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Riddle Gamble, known as Bingie, on December 13, 1950 and enjoyed more than 58 years of marriage with her before she preceded him in death in 2009.

Jose Castillo Zapata passed away on March 12, 2020. All services are private due to the virus restrictions in Bell County.

Jose Castillo Zapata was born on February 15, 1991 to Juan Castillo and Lidia Zapata.
