Specialist Reggie D. Hudspeth, 27, whose home of record is listed as Fort Worth, Texas, entered active-duty service in May 2003 as a automated logistical specialist. He was assigned to the 49th Movement Control Battalion, 4th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), since May 2007.
Hudspeth deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from December 2008 to November 2009 and Operation Iraqi Freedom from April 2003 – March 2004.
Hudspeth’s awards and decorations include two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, two Army Good Conduct Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with campaign star, Iraqi Campaign Medal with arrowhead device, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and a NATO Medal.
Funeral services for Bobby “Grumpy” Gene Luther, 69, of Temple were held August 13, 2011 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Salado Cemetery.
