Services for Betty Louise Huey Croftcheck, 64, of Salado were held Wednesday, May 25, at First Baptist Church of Salado. Dr. Travis Burleson and Dr. Leroy Kemp will officiate. Burial will follow at Salado Cemetery. Mrs. Croftcheck died Friday, May 20, 2011 in a Temple hospital.
Services for Thomas J. McCarthy, 85, Temple/Salado were held Monday, May 16, St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Temple, TX. Burial with honors was held at Texas State Veteran Cemetery the same day.
Vance Francis of Salado passed away May 13, 2011. Vance Francis was born in Dallas April, 28, 1918 to Lorena Vance and Samuel T. Francis. He spent most of his life in Texas.
Graveside services for Don Richard Welborn, 66, of Salado were held Friday, May 13, 2011 at Live Oak Cemetery in Youngsport with Bert Alpha officiating. Mr. Welborn passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at his home in Salado.
Services for David Charles Barnard, 70, Salado will be private.
Barnard died May 6, 2011 at a local hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services for Natha Jean Wetzel Grigsby, of Salado, were held at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel in Belton April 30, 2011. Services were officiated by Pastor Billy Johnson. Burial followed in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Liberty Hill.
Community leader and political columnist Kenyon F. Clapp, 82, passed away in a Temple hospital April 23, 2011 with his wife of 62 years and his three sons around him.
