Services for Charlie A. Berry, 96, of Salado were held 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton. Interment followed at Salado Cemetery. 

He passed away Oct. 2, 2012 at a Bartlett care center.

Berry was born on Oct. 11, 1915 in Salado to the late Walter E. and Annie Mae (Anderson) Berry. He lived his entire life in the Salado area. Charlie was in a CC Camp in Bartlett and retired from Civil Service. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Anne Berry and Minnie Lee Hill; and two brothers, William E. and Jim Berry.

Survivors include one brother and a sister-in-law, Tom and Nancy Berry of Salado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton has been entrusted with arrangements.
