A Celebration of Life service for Cheryl Jane (Bechtelheimer) Taylor, age 70 of Salado, will be held at the home of Kenneth Martin, 8817 Burleson Manor Rd. in Manor  TX at 11 a.m. on Nov. 28.

Taylor passed away at her home in Salado on September 27, 2015.

She was born May 30, 1945 in Haynesville, Louisiana to James Cletus Bechtelheimer and Dora DeLoach Bechtelheimer.

Her first husband is Kenneth Thornton Martin. Her second husband was George Arthur Taylor, who preceded her in death.

After graduating from Camden High School in Camden, Arkansas, she attending Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

She had a career in singing and modeling and human resources management with Humana, Inc. in Louisville.

She was a member of Metropolitan Community Church in Austin at Freedom Oaks.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her second husband George Taylor.

She is survived by her son Beck Allan Taylor, his wife Julie and their children Zachary, Lauren and Chloe, allof Spokane, Washington.
