Arts camps will spur your imagineers
to new heights this summer
The Silver Spur Arts Academy (SSAA), invites you and your children, ages 4 to 18, to celebrate creativity this summer in the heart of Salado.
The SSAA will be offering arts camps 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on June 23-27 and July 21-25 and a mini-camp in August.
“We invite your imagineers and aspiring artists of every kind to plunge into a one-of-a-kind array of dance, drawing, film production, crafting, crooning, painting, play-acting, moving, yoga-grooving, imagining and more,” said Tiffany Schreiner, co-founder of the Arts Academy.
Tuition fee for the Camp is $55 per day or $265 for all five days. Students are encouraged to bring a sack lunch or snack to fuel their bodies and minds.
For more information or to reserve a spot for an student, call the Salado Silver Spur Arts Academy ASAP as space is limited, at 254-466-5018, email cosmicbanditastx@gmail.com, or visit the SSAA website: www.silverspurarts.com.
This year SSAA will be sharing several camp scholarships in memory of Fischer Dowdy and his family. Apply by emailing tiffyoranch@gmail.com.
“Studies have shown that involvement in the arts is associated with gains in math, reading, cognitive ability, critical thinking and verbal skills,” Schreiner said. “Arts learning also can improve motivation, concentration, confidence and teamwork.”
