Debra (Debbie) Ann Charbonneau
March 11, 1955
October 13, 2024
Debra (Debbie) Ann Charbonneau nee Wadsworth joined the dance with the angels early Sunday morning, October 13th, 2024 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 69 years old.
Debbie was born in Fort Hood, Texas on March 11th of 1955 and moved around with her Army family but always missed her home state of Texas.
After graduating high school, she joined the United States Navy and moved to Kingsville, where she met her future Navy husband and “forever boyfriend” Lauren. They married after her service time ended and she followed Lauren around the globe, had three daughters, joined every group she could, made friends everywhere she went, and loved every minute of it.
She is survived by husband Lauren Charbonneau; daughters Jennifer Rodriguez, Nicole Deviney, and Lindsey Nennig; sons-in-law Sebastian Rodriguez and Charles Deviney; grandchildren Abby Sheeler, Madison Brummett, Tyler Stairs, Mason Stairs, and Liana Rodriguez; and one great-granddaughter AnBerlyn Olivencia.
She is also survived by countless friends that loved her and supported her and her family during these last few months.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bertie Wadsworth and many other beloved family members.
Debbie leaves behind a legacy of laughter and friendship that few will ever see in their lifetime. She was an avid spades player, a voracious book reader, an organizational guru, our Little General, and the boss to many, whether they knew it or not.
Although Debbie loved them, in lieu of flowers, please consider a sweet donation in her name to a charity or scholarship of your choice, or cancer research organization.
Don’t think of her and cry, Debbie wouldn’t want that. Think of her with a smile, or a chuckle, and know she’s already organizing events in Heaven and getting the table ready for her family and friends…and will welcome everyone with open arms again one day.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23rd, 4 – 6 pm at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive, Georgetown
Rosary and Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday, October 24th, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 2500 Limmer Loop in Hutto.
