Don L. Wilson
Don L. Wilson, 81, passed away at his home in Houston on March 27, 2015.
He was born January 15, 1934 in Salado to James W. and Faye Wilson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Carolyn and Maxine.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia along with his four children; Terry, Tammy, Tracy, and Taryn. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Wilson was a Master Electrician who owned his own electrical company. He also was a Building inspector for the City of Bellaire, from which he retired.
Wilson was made a Master Mason in Bellaire Lodge #1366 on April 7, 1960. He was an Endowed Member of Holland Lodge #1 in Houston, Texas and a member of Lodge No. 1101 in Gary, Texas.
He served in the Texas National Guard and received his honorable discharge in July 1961.
Visitation was held at Advantage Funeral Home in Houston on March 30. A service followed at Bellaire United Methodist Church on March 31,
A Masonic graveside service was held at Salado Cemetery on April 1.
Pallbearers will be Dave Brenchley, Brandon Cano, Chad Grimes, Boyd Davis, Curtis Campbell, and David Walker. Honorary Pallbearers are James Stewart, Gaspar Correa and David Cano.
Memorial donations can be made in the name of Don L. Wilson to the Shriners Hospitals, an organization that was close to his heart.
