Duerr passes away in his home
Daniel D. Duerr, age 45, of Salado, died March 2, 2002 at his home following a long illness. He was born December 24, 1956 in Paris, Arkansas.
Duerr graduated from Bishop Kelly High School, Tulsa, OK. m 1975 and the University of Central Texas in 1989. Mr. Duerr served in the Air Force and was later employed by U.S. Civil Service in the several aviation-related positions. At Fort Hood he was a member of the Apache Fielding Team and was an Aviation Test Officer at OTC when he medically retired in 1998.
Mr. Duerr is survived by his wife, Karen Duerr of Salado, three daughters, Sonya Duerr of Arlington, Rebecca Dix of Bedford, and Shannon Snyder of Bedford; his mother, Mary Rita Duerr of Ft. Smith, Arkansas : two brothers, Tom Duerr of Elicott City, Maryland and Bob Duerr of Plano; and his grandparent Mr. and Mrs. Justin Duerr of Subiaco, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
The funeral mass was held 11 a.m. March 5. Mr. Duerr was cremated. Harper-Talasek Funeral Home of Salado was in charge of arrangements.
