The Connally Cadets came to town on Dec. 16 and walked away with a decisive 62-38 win over the Salado Eagles.

Connally outscored Salado 19-8 in the first, and led 32-22 at the half. The Cadets extended their lead to 47-28 at the end of the third.

Latrell Jenkins led the boys with 10 points, including two three-pointers. Also scoring for the Eagles were Eli Pittman, 8 points including two threes, Reece Brown, 8 points, Peyton Miller, 4 points, Noah Mescher, 3 points, Cade Scallin, 3 points and Josh Goings, 2 points.

The boys will play in the Rosebud-Lott tournament on Dec. 27-28. They will play Wall in San Antonio on Dec. 31 and Madisonville on Jan. 3.
