Llano 31

Salado Eagles trounced the visiting Llano Yellowjackets 69-31 on Dec. 10. Salado led 22-6 after the first and 36-16 at the half. The Eagles added 15 in the third and 18 in the fourth.

Cade Scallin led Salado with 24 points. Josh Goings scored 14 points to follow.

Also scoring for the Eagles were Caleb Self, 7 points, Austin Abel, 6 points, Latrell Jenkins,5 points, Eli Pittman, 5 points and Peyton Miller, 2 points.

Salado JV Red beat Burnet 33-39 last week.

Darius Wilson scored 11 points to lead Salado. Also scoring were Noah Self, 7 points, Seth Reavis, 7 points, Chase Joiner, 6 points, and Drew Bird, 2 points.

JV Red 39

Llano 23

Salado JV Red whipped the Llano JV Yellowjackets 39-23 on Dec. 10.

The Eagles outscored the Yellowjackets 15-11 in the first half and led 22-18 after three but blew out the game in the fourth quarter by putting up 17 points and holding Llano to just 5 points.

Darius Wilson and Seth Reavis both scored 7 points to lead Salado. Also scoring for the JV Eagles were Brady Ihler, 6 points, Chase Joiner, 5 points, Drew Bird, 3 points, Caden Stump, 2 points and Caleb Sirmon, 2 points.

JV White 39

Salado JV White boys basketball team beat Llano on Dec. 10. Petcak led the boys with 11 points, followed by Benavides, 10 points. Also scoring were Pettigrew, 4 points, Gilpin, 4 points, Rose, 3 points, Jake, 2 points, and Miller, 1 point.
