Salado Eagles outlasted the Academy Bees on their home court 41-33 on Dec. 18.

The Eagles scored 20 points in the second quarter and held the Bees to eight points to take a 27-14 lead at the half. Salado scored just 14 points in the second half, but held off the Bees, who added 19 points.

Justin Tatum led the Eagles with 11 points, followed by Preston Rosebrock eight points, Trevor Stump, seven points, Evan Wall, six points, Peyton Kyburz, five points, and Garrett Lightfoot and Willie Whigham, two points each.
