Salado Eagles scored 16 in the first quarter and led Bryan Rudder 27-14 in the second. The Eagles scored 7 points in the third to lead 34-28 and outscored Bryan Rudder 20-8 in the fourth to secure the win 54-36.

The JV Eagles trailed 6-12 in the first quarter and scored 15 points in the second to make the score 21-33. Salado scored 12 points in the third to make the score 33-49 and added 8 points in the fourth falling short 41-57.

Josh Gilpin led the JV Eagles in scoring with 14 points. Also scoring for Salado were Cayden Stump, 9 points, Nolan Miller, 6 points, Ethan Llobergat, 4 points, Isaac Pettigrew, 4 points, Kase Maedgen, 2 points, Dawson Barksdale, 2 points.

Salado Freshman were defeated by Bryan Dec. 31.

Salado tied the game at 6-6 in the first quarter and scored 12 points in the second to take a 18-17 lead. The Freshman Eagles were outscored 12-21 in the third to lose the lead 30-38 going into the fourth. Salado matched Bryan’s 15 points in the fourth to be defeated 45-53.

AJ Fach led the Freshman in scoring with 14 points. Followed by Rogers with 10 points. Also scoring for Salado were Franks, 9 points, Roche, 5 points, Lanier, 3 points, Massar, 2 points, Ingrum, 2 points.
