Salado Eagles went on the road Nov. 24 to beat the McGregor Bulldogs 59-45.

Salado led 10-9 in the first quarter and outscored McGregor 14-1 in the second to take a 24-10 lead. The Eagles added 14 points in the third and 21 in the fourth for the 59-45 win.

Josh Goings led the Eagles in scoring with 22 points. Followed by Noah Self, 13 points. Also scoring for Salado were Luke Law, 9 points, Brady Ihler, 6 points, Darius Wilson, 4 points, Isaac Petigrew, 2 points, Ethan Llobergat, 2 points, Caleb Sirmon, 1 point.

Salado JV Eagles bested  McGregor in a road game Nov. 24.

Salado trailed McGregor 8-10 in the first quarter and scored 7 in the second to take a 15-13 lead. Salado scored 5 in the third and another 10 in the fourth to hold onto a 30-28 win.

Isaac Pettigrew led the JV Eagles in scoring with 18 points. Also scoring for Salado were Kase Maedgen, 5 points, Josh Gilpin, 4 points, Tate Franks, 3 points.

Freshman Eagles 11

Salado Freshman Eagles lost on the road to McGregor Nov. 24.

Salado Freshman tied McGregor 2-2 in the first and were held scoreless in the second to trail 2-6. Salado scored 4 in the third to close the gap 6-8. The Freshman Eagles fell short in the the fourth scoring 5 points for a 11-15 loss.

Camrin Rogers led the Freshman Eagles in scoring with 4 points. Also scoring for Salado were Tate Franks, 3 points, Jack Ingrum 2 points, Bryton Massar, 2 points.
