Salado Eagles lost to Cameron in a high scoring game Dec. 5.

Salado Eagles scored 18 points in the first and 21 in the second to trail Cameron 39-45 by the half. The Eagles outscored Cameron 18-16 in the third to make the deficit 57-66. Salado added 8 points in the fourth to lose 75-87.

Josh Goings led the Eagles in scoring with 31 points. Followed by LaTrell Jenkins with 14 points and Darius Wilson, 12 points. 

Also scoring for Salado were Brady Ihler, 6 points, Owen Pitcock, 4 points, Aaron Gonzalez, 2 points.

JV Eagles 54

Cameron 44

Salado JV Eagles led Cameron 16-14 in the first quarter and were outscored 13-15 in the second to tie the game at 29-29. The JV Eagles scored 18 points in the third while holding Cameron scoreless to take a 47-29 lead into the fourth. Salado added another 7 points in the fourth to win 54-44.

Cayden Stump led the JV Eagles in scoring with 17 points. Followed by Josh Gilpin, 16 points and Isaac Pettigrew, 11 points.
