Groesbeck scored 22 points in the fourth quarter to close a six point Salado advantage and beat the Eagles 66-62 on Nov. 28 in a home game for the Goats.

Salado scored 20 points in the second quarter, led by a nine-point quarter from Evan Wall.

Four Eagles scored double figures in the game. Ryan Kyburz led the squad with 13 points. Wall followed with 12 points. Justin Tatum scored 11 points and Preston Rosebrock scored 10 points.

Also scoring for Salado were Trevor Stump, seven points, Willy Whigham, three points and Luke Miller, two points.
