Tracy McLoud, a certified permaculture designer, will introduce participants to permaculture ethics and principles as defined by the co-creators of the permaculture design concept, Bill Mollison and David Holmgren. These principles build the foundation for designing and integrating the systems of your home, garden, or larger property to not only be more sustainable, but to be restorative and regenerative. Participants will leave with a new way of thinking which will allow them to identify resources on their properties and design integrated, multifunctional systems that use those resources responsibly while maximizing productivity. Whether you are planning a small spring garden or managing several acres of land, this talk will provide you with inspiration and direction about how to incorporate permaculture principles into your everyday life. We will also provide an informational handout with a list of suggested resources for further study.Tickets are $15.00 and includes one free beer. Tickets are also available at the door. Hecho en Queso will be onsite with their Mexican fusion cuisine and special menu created just for this event, so come early.
